Saskatoon Black Business Network (SBBN)

Welcome to Saskatoon Black Business Network (“SBBN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, programs, events, courses, forms, and services. By accessing or using any SBBN services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SBBN’s services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


2. Purpose of SBBN Services

SBBN exists to support, promote, and empower Black-owned businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs in Saskatoon and beyond through networking, education, advocacy, and community initiatives.

Our services may include:

  • Events and networking sessions

  • Training courses and workshops

  • Sponsorship and partnership opportunities

  • Community programs and communications


3. User Responsibilities

By using SBBN services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when required

  • Use SBBN platforms and services for lawful and respectful purposes

  • Refrain from engaging in harassment, discrimination, or harmful conduct

  • Not misuse forms, registrations, or communication channels

SBBN reserves the right to deny access or participation to anyone who violates these Terms.


4. Intellectual Property

All content provided by SBBN, including logos, branding, text, graphics, course materials, and event resources, is the property of SBBN unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use SBBN content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.


5. Registrations, Payments, and Sponsorships

  • Event registrations, course enrollments, and sponsorships may be subject to specific terms provided at the point of registration.

  • Fees, where applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Sponsorship acceptance is subject to review and confirmation by SBBN.


6. Communications

By registering for SBBN programs or submitting forms, you consent to receive communications related to our activities, including emails and announcements. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.


7. Limitation of Liability

SBBN shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programs, events, courses, or use of our platforms, to the extent permitted by law.

Participation in SBBN activities is voluntary and at your own discretion.


8. Third-Party Services and Links

SBBN services may include links to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.


9. Changes to Terms

SBBN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
